Caring
As part of our fundraising day for the charity 'Winston's wish' where we all wore something beginning with 'w', each pupil and staff member had the chance to create a memory of someone or something they had lost.
Some children choose to keep these private for themselves, others were hung on the trees in the Peaceful Paradise.
The following day each class spent time in the Peaceful paradise, it was a quiet and respectful session.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…

Caring for all of God's Creatures
The children in RL and RF spent two weeks caring for Duck Eggs, making sure they were kept warm and safe. All of a sudden the eggs began to hatch and before long, they were caring for five wiggly ducklings.
The entire school were able to watch their first swim via 'Duck Cam' and each class had a visit with the ducks.
The EYFS classes held a Duck raffle in order to raise some of the money for the eggs, and the amazing PTA provided the rest!
