Remembrance Day 2020

Easter Display at St.Mary's Church

The posters describing our understanding of the meaning of each day over the Easter period were displayed at St.Mary's for the Easter holiday.
They were viewed by over 100 members of the Church and local community, below are some of the comments made by people:

'Very informative and lovely illustrations. Sounds like there is a good understanding of Easter.'

'Beautiful posters, created with care. Very informative visual display of the Easter story and what each day means. '

'The children have clearly understood the Easter season and are able to discuss the significant / important days… they have used creative language to explain and colourful / emotional drawings as examples.'

'Lots of visuals, lovely colourful posters all with detailed explanations. The information is highlighted by different coloured writing, bold, underlined, multi coloured; all very eye-catching. The displays show how the children work well together.'

'Beautiful images with all the meaningful symbols of Easter.'

The Commonwealth Service 2019

Local Community

The local village allotments have been working in unison with the school and our veggie patch growing. They donated towards some new gardening equipment which will be used by many children during play and lunch times.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!
