E-Safety at Heathlands

At Heathlands, we believe that it is essential that we prepare our pupils for life in the 21st Century. Becoming confident in computing, in its many forms, is key to this. All of our pupils will use the internet in their time at Heathlands. Pupils will be taught how to be safe online and how to use the internet in a safe way. We also run workshops for parents in Internet Safety. We encourage parents to discuss this at home and ensure that children are supported in being safe users of the internet. Mr Hassard heads up our E-safety work and any
questions regarding online safety should be directed to him.

Online Safety Webinar for Parents of Primary-Aged Children

To celebrate Safer Internet Day, this online safety webinar for parents/carers will be co-hosted by Natterhub's Caroline Allams and Jenna Khanna from Common Sense Media. Offering expert guidance and advice on managing online safety at home, our termly Natterhub sessions are proving to be a popular event for schools to support their parent community.
