Dear families,
As we reach the end of another academic year, it's hard to know where the time has gone. Looking back over these past few terms, what strikes me most isn't any single event, but the sheer number of moments, big and small, that have made this year feel so full: the laughter of Sports Day, the stillness of our Prayer Spaces at St Mary's, the pride on faces at the many events we have taken part in, and the quiet, steady progress our children have made in the classroom every single day in between.
It's been a year of real change too. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our PTA and families, every classroom now has a brand-new interactive whiteboard, already transforming how our children learn. We've welcomed new starters, said goodbye to old friends, and watched our Year 6 children grow into the confident, capable young people who will leave us this summer ready for the next chapter.
None of this happens by accident. It's the result of a wonderful staff team who go above and beyond, a PTA that never stops fundraising and organising, and families who support us at every turn, whether that's on the sidelines at a sports event, in the audience at a performance, or simply by getting your children through the school gates each morning with a smile. Thank you, all of you, for another year of being part of the Heathlands family.
As we look ahead to the summer break, I hope it's a time of rest, sunshine, and happy memories for you all. We can't wait to welcome everyone back in September for another year of learning, growing, and making memories together.
With very best wishes for a wonderful summer,
Mr Crawley
