I hope you all had a wonderful summer break and found time to rest, recharge and enjoy time with family and friends. It has been a real pleasure welcoming the children back — their enthusiasm, smart appearance and eagerness to learn has set a fantastic tone for the year ahead.
It has been wonderful to see the school buzzing with energy once again. A special welcome goes to our new children and families who are joining Heathlands for the first time — we are delighted you are now part of our school community.
There is lots of important information in this newsletter, and we have begun adding dates to our school calendar, which is available on our website. There is also information about the 2 Johns e-safety parent workshop, links to our meet the teacher videos, and application guidance for the various school parliaments we have running this year.
As explained in the summer I am trying to offer an audio version of the newsletter – a short sound-bite where I outline the main points of what is included, in the hope it makes the information more accessible for you. I am still in the process of working out the best way to host this, but hopefully the link on Class Dojo works!
