Dear Families
It’s hard to believe we are now into the final few weeks of the academic year, with just over three weeks to go. There’s a real sense of energy and anticipation around the school as we prepare for the transition into a new school year.
It’s been a pleasure to hear of and see children across all year groups taking part in their transition mornings, meeting their new class teachers and beginning to look ahead to September. These sessions have been a great success, and we’re looking forward to another morning of transition next Tuesday. We also had the joy of welcoming in our new starters for 2025/2026—it was wonderful to see so many excited faces and to begin building those early connections with our newest families.
Our Year 6 pupils have been out and about on their transition days at their new secondary schools. They’ve represented Heathlands brilliantly, and we’re proud of the confident, respectful young people they are becoming as they prepare to take this next big step.
Finally, a polite reminder to all parents and carers to be mindful of our local residents when parking near the school. Please make use of the parking available at the Orpen Hall wherever possible to help ease congestion and maintain positive relationships with our neighbours.
I hope that you all have a lovely weekend.
