On Monday 27th April we held a very successful Lower Junior Music Assembly for all those who have instrumental lessons. The children all played their pieces beautifully and it was lovely to give the drum kit an airing. Very well done to all who played. 

The school choir is busy rehearsing in readiness for the opening of the West Bergholt Village Fayre on Saturday 13th June.  In addition to our repertoire we will be showcasing our new accompanist, Jacob, in Y5 who will be playing the keyboard for us at this event.

Music Lessons in school

As I am sure parents know, we offer music lessons in school in piano, singing, guitar, violin,  flute, clarinet and can accommodate Brass lessons through Essex Music Services. We have a number of instruments which we can loan out too.  Lessons are on a rota so your child does not miss the same lesson each week. 

If you are interested in lessons please come and pick up a leaflet from the school office or put your child’s name on the waiting list (also held in the school office). If you change your mind, there is no obligation to accept lessons once you are offered a place, but the list is fairly long, so it is a good idea to bag your spot just in case!
