During the half-term break, 20 of our Year 6 pupils came together on Thursday 31st October to raise money for their end-of-year celebrations. Braving the pouring rain, the children set themselves the challenge of cycling as many laps as possible around the mile-long track at the Sports Park — and what an effort they made!

In just one hour, the group cycled an incredible 225 miles between them. Sponsorship money is still coming in, but it’s safe to say their determination, teamwork and sheer enjoyment shone through the clouds.

A huge well done to everyone involved — a fantastic example of Heathlands’ spirit and perseverance in action!
