Mrs Martin has been teaching for 10 years and have been working at Heathlands since January 2020. Mrs Martin loves teaching EYFS and in KS1 and has taught these year groups since she became a teacher. She currently teaches in Rowan Class (Year 1) and loves teaching phonics to help children learn how to read and write.

She completed her BA in Early Years Professional Practice before gaining her QTS qualification through SCITT teacher training. Mrs Martin also has a MA in Education with Special Educational Needs and Disability.

Mrs Martin has a busy homelife with two young boys. They love going to zoo together and being outdoors. She loves Disney and her favourite Disney film is Lilo & Stitch. You will often find Mrs Martin with a cup of tea.
