Learning Support Assistant
Miss Smith joined Heathlands as a volunteer when she started a Degree with Open University with the aim of qualifying as a HLTA. She soon became a Midday Assistant, enjoyed supporting children and running activities at lunchtime. In September 2022 she was asked to support as a 1:1 whilst continuing her studies and MDA duties. Miss Smith is now supporting children in Oak Class, a recently established class to support children with SEND.
Miss Smith has 5 children, a dog, a cat and a tortoise. She loves living in the village and being part of the wider school community. In her free time, she likes to read, crochet, DIY and spending time with friends and family.
