Mrs Walls is passionate about working with children, and being part of Heathlands Primary School truly is her dream job. She has been a valued member of the team for seven years, beginning her journey as a Midday Assistant (MDA). Through hard work and dedication, she gained her qualifications and now also works as a 1-1 Learning Support Assistant, while continuing her MDA role.

Over the years, Mrs Walls has had a variety of roles, with her most long-standing positions including 18 years as a 1-1 carer and 30 years as a cleaner at a dental practice. Her qualifications include Level 2 in Caring for Children and Young Adults, Level 2 in Special Educational Needs and Disability, and up-to-date First Aid certification.

Outside of work, Mrs Walls is a devoted mother of three (two sons and a daughter), a proud grandmother to eleven grandchildren (ranging from 21 to 7 years old), and a great-grandmother to one. She has been married for 40 years and recently fulfilled a long-held dream by taking her first holiday abroad to Turkey.

In her spare time, she loves spending time outdoors, especially in her garden, which she considers her pride and joy. She also enjoys swimming, countryside walks, and exploring in her motorhome.
