Eco Council
The eco council is made up of one child per class from years 1 to 6, who attend weekly meetings. The aim of the eco council is to...
“help the planet by spreading awareness of environmental issues and doing our best to lead change by helping our school and the local community become greener”.
The Programme is pupil-led, involving hands-on learning. The eco council have recently been involved in raising money for hedgehogs, walk2school weeks, litter picking and have raised money to install swift boxes in school to try and help the dwindling population of swifts in the UK.
